Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Environmental Analyst based in Hong Kong to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing environmental data, conducting assessments, and supporting sustainability initiatives to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. As you gather and interpret key environmental data, your insights will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving informed decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to minimizing the company’s environmental impact, while ensuring our operations align with both local and global sustainability standards, fostering a sustainable and compliant future for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Environmental Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data such as air quality and emissions, tracking performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with Hong Kong’s environmental regulations and international sustainability standards. Additionally, you will prepare reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and audits, ensuring accurate and timely compliance across all operations.
- Environmental Impact Assessments: Conduct environmental impact assessments for various projects and operations, evaluating potential risks. Based on your findings, you will recommend strategies for mitigation and continuous improvement to minimize environmental impact.
- Sustainability Reporting & Communication: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate environmental performance and findings. These will be shared with stakeholders, including management, government agencies, and external partners, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Sustainability Strategy Support: Assist in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, ensuring that environmental factors are effectively integrated into business operations and decision-making processes for long-term sustainability.
- Research & Market Trends: Stay updated on global and local environmental trends, policies, and technologies. Analyzing these trends will help you provide valuable insights on how they can enhance or influence the company’s sustainability practices.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with sustainability goals. This collaboration will help foster strong environmental practices and ensure consistent progress across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in environmental analysis, sustainability, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or other environmental modeling software. Knowledge of GIS tools is a plus.
- Environmental Knowledge: Strong understanding of local Hong Kong environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex environmental data in a clear and concise manner.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess environmental risks and propose actionable solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with environmental certifications or auditing processes .
- Familiarity with environmental impact assessment procedures and reports.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives.
