Job Overview:
We are seeking assistance for our client in finding an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Regenerative Agriculture & Farm-to-Table Coordinator to join their team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainable agriculture and food systems, combined with strong communication and relationship management skills, allowing them to effectively build and maintain valuable connections. In this role, you will focus on managing supplier relationships with local and organic farms, ensuring that the highest quality products are sourced while aligning with regenerative farming practices. Furthermore, the coordinator will be responsible for ensuring a seamless farm-to-table experience, working closely with farmers, vendors, and internal teams to support our shared commitment to sustainability, health, and exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities of Regenerative Agriculture & Farm-to-Table Coordinator:

Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with local and organic farmers, regenerative agriculture suppliers, and food producers.
- Additionally, collaborate with farmers to ensure the sustainable sourcing of fresh, high-quality produce that aligns with regenerative and organic farming principles.
- Moreover, negotiate contracts, manage supply agreements, and ensure fair pricing and ethical practices with all suppliers.

Sourcing and Procurement:
- Oversee the sourcing process, ensuring all products meet the standards for quality, sustainability, and ethical production.
- In addition, identify and source seasonal, organic, and regenerative products from local farms, prioritizing those grown using eco-friendly methods.
- Furthermore, work closely with chefs, kitchen teams, and other stakeholders to anticipate and fulfill product needs based on demand and seasonal availability.

Farm-to-Table Operations:
- Coordinate the logistics of farm-to-table processes, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries from farms to restaurants or other destinations.
- Additionally, work with the culinary team to promote the use of locally sourced, regenerative ingredients, creating menus that reflect the seasonal bounty available.
- Moreover, educate staff and customers about the benefits of regenerative agriculture and the importance of supporting local and organic farming practices.

Quality Control and Sustainability Standards:
- Monitor and assess the quality of products delivered from suppliers, ensuring they meet the required standards of freshness, safety, and sustainability.
- Conduct regular site visits to farms to ensure suppliers adhere to regenerative farming principles and sustainability guidelines.
- Keep up-to-date with certifications (e.g., organic, regenerative, sustainable) and ensure suppliers maintain compliance with relevant standards.

Marketing and Communication:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to share stories about the farms, producers, and regenerative practices through various channels, including social media, websites, and in-house promotions.
- Educate and engage customers on the benefits of regenerative agriculture and the farm-to-table concept, creating transparency about sourcing and sustainability.
- Develop promotional materials and events to highlight local farms, sustainable practices, and seasonal produce, fostering community support for local agriculture.

Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of supplier agreements, procurement orders, and invoices to ensure smooth operations and financial transparency.
- Also, regularly report on supplier performance, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability metrics to leadership.
- In addtion, track and report on the impact of sourcing decisions, including carbon footprint, waste reduction, and the economic benefits to local farms and communities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainable sourcing, agriculture, or supply chain management, with a focus on local and organic food systems.
- Experience working with regenerative agriculture practices and an understanding of food sustainability principles is a plus.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with farmers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of regenerative agriculture, organic certification processes, and sustainable food systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with supply chain management or inventory software is a plus.
- Passion for sustainable food systems and regenerative agriculture.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to local farms and attend industry events.
