Job Description:
We are seeking support for our client in finding a skilled and motivated Solar Panel Installer to join their team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will, therefore, be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar panel systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Additionally, the role requires a strong understanding of solar energy systems, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar panel systems, including mounting hardware, panels, inverters, and wiring for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal solar panel placement and design.
- Ensure all installations meet local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair existing solar energy systems as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency benefits to clients.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members, complete installations efficiently and on time.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and service reports.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technology, and regulations related to solar energy systems.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Solar Panel Installer or in a similar technical role in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of solar panel systems, electrical systems, and installation techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards for solar energy systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin and basic proficiency in English is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in solar energy or electrical work are a plus.
