Job Description:

Our client is looking to grow their team and is in need of an experienced and dedicated Environmental Consultant to join their team in Dubai. This is a role for someone who not only values the delicate balance of nature but also understands the importance of thoughtful, sustainable development. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that Dubai’s growth and environmental stewardship go hand in hand — a task that requires both expertise and a deep respect for the natural world.

As an Environmental Consultant, you will provide clear, science-driven insights that guide projects toward solutions which not only meet the needs of today but also safeguard the environment for the future. Furthermore, your work will be essential in helping developers, planners, and policymakers make informed decisions that protect Dubai’s unique ecosystems — from its vast deserts to its coastal environments. By offering these insights, you will ensure that development is both responsible and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Environmental Assessments:

• Firstly, perform thorough environmental assessments across diverse ecosystems in Dubai, including desert, coastal, and urban landscapes.
• Next, identify environmental risks and opportunities, and subsequently, recommend strategies for sustainable management.
  2. Prepare Reports and Provide Recommendations:
• Begin by, develop clear, concise reports detailing environmental findings, including impact assessments, biodiversity evaluations, and habitat analysis.
• Then, offer practical, scientifically-backed recommendations that support sustainability and mitigate ecological impact.
  3. Provide Strategic Environmental Advice:
• Initially, advise on environmental impact assessments, sustainability strategies, and best practices for habitat conservation and resource management.
• Furthermore, help integrate ecological considerations into urban planning and development projects, thereby ensuring long-term sustainability.
  4. Collaborate with Stakeholders:
• Collaboratively, work closely with architects, urban planners, government agencies, and conservationists to incorporate environmental considerations into projects.
• Additionally, facilitate dialogue between developers and communities to ensure that environmental priorities are both understood and addressed.
  5. Support Monitoring and Reporting:
• Supportively, assist in biodiversity monitoring and track changes in ecosystems over time.
